HI, MY NAME IS MACI
I am a Christian, newly married woman from Oshkosh, WI. I attended Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design for my bachelors [2020-2024] and moved to the big city of Chicago, IL in 2024. I currently work here full-time as a Graphic Designer. I have always been obsessed with the process of film-making. I started this business as a hobby about 8 years ago, taking photos anywhere for anyone, making short films and montages for friends- it was crazy- people started asking me to films their weddings *I was 17* and I thought- hm you know what maybe I could get paid to do this hah!
CARTER, MY HUSBAND
Carter, is a mechanical engineer and now accompanies me on weddings as my second shooter. He is a HUGE help to me. He is great with the drone and loves to second shoot and is also a big strong man that can carry many things :) It is truly a joy to get to work with my best friend especially after filming weddings alone for years. Together we capture the laughs, the cries, and all of those candid moments through cinematic video format.
We specialize in cinematic wedding films, couples photos, maternity, family, organic posing, dreamy cinematic shots that make you feel like you’re in the moment. We recently got married and have fallen in love with filming weddings and the God given gift of marriage. We love capturing moments in time and it is my DREAM to soon be doing this as my only and full-time job.
Located in the Chicago area, but we are more than willing to travel anywhere! Would love to chat more about our services, hit “book” to get on the calendar today!
OUR MISSION
After becoming a Christian in college, everything about my life has changed! Christ! He has given me a new heart and new desires and one of the greatest parts about walking with Him is the desire to see others know Him. I use this business and platform as a way to share my faith, encourage others and champion those who have given their lives to Him and are going through big life events like marriage and family! These big life things are God-given gifts and my intention is to capture the beauty of it all and point our eyes back to the cross. Jesus Christ, the God that loves you so much He went on a rescue mission for you. He lived a perfect life with no sin- no one has ever done that. The bible says that sin separates us from God who is perfect and holy. That the punishment for sin is death. He did not have to save us, He could have left us when sin entered into the world. But the God that knit you together in your mother’s womb wants your heart and wants a relationship with you. So He entered into His creation, took on flesh, did what we could not and went to the cross and paid the punishment you and I truly deserve. After dying the most painful horrible death ever recorded in human history, He gave up His spirit. Three days later, He ROSE FROM THE GRAVE! Defeating, concurring death itself!
Why does this matter?
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Most world religions say work your way to God, do enough good deeds and maybe you will get to a “heaven”
Jesus claimed to be God, and rose from the grave.
He said “I am the way, I am the truth, I am the life. No one comes to the father except through me.”
That statement crushes all other religion and world views. ^ There is no other way.
His finished work on the cross paid all of the debt that we owe. Otherwise we would have no way to get close to a holy God. He invites you into that reality and the grace He offers you has nothing to do with what you have done.
Repent and turn to Christ.
It is because of Him that anything exists
It is because of Him that anything is anything
If you are looking for meaning, purpose, fulfillment, something to fill what you are lacking…
Christ is our only hope.
Christ is your answer.
Eternal life can start TODAY!
Our goal with the work we put out, is to point us back to the God that made you and loves you to the point of giving His own life to save you. I pray that every film we create is a reminder of the hope we have in Him. Marriage itself is a picture of that reality and that Christ will one day return for His people, His bride- the Church.
